A Little About Westminster
What is attractive about our church fellowship? God’s Word is taught, God is honored in our worship, and God’s people find a place to belong and serve. It is a place to call home! The gospel is preached and Christ is savored. We seek to make and mature disciples of Christ by teaching and living the Word of God. You will find a warm and loving fellowship and opportunities to learn, grow and serve as part of our family. We have a beautiful facility, an active choir, a children’s church, a Men’s Luncheon Bible Study, a thriving Women’s Bible study, and elders with a shepherd’s heart. But, don’t just take my word for it, come and taste the goodness of God with us here at Westminster! – Pastor Mark
Sundays at Westminster
Sunday School 9:00 am
Meeting in our Fellowship Hall building, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages including a men’s study, an adult study, children’s classes, and a family class. Come for coffee and fellowship time as well!
Morning Service 10:30 am
We practice reformed worship, which addresses God through the means that He has prescribed in the Scriptures with nothing else to be added. These means include a call to worship, invocation, prayer, hymns (Psalms and spiritual songs), confession of sin, reading and preaching of the Scriptures, the sacraments (Communion and Baptism), and a benediction.
Our deacons are ready to welcome you and your family, giving directions and a special visitor’s gift. Filling out a visitor card is a great way for us to get to know you too!
Childcare is available for infants to 3yrs old with background checked and trained volunteers. Additionally, we have a mother’s room located in the church narthex equipped to aid mothers with young children. Children ages 4-7 also have the option to attend children’s church halfway through the morning service.
Prayer Meeting – 6:00 pm
Each week a church-wide prayer meeting is led by an elder. Prayer and praise continue until 7:00pm, after which there are snacks and fellowship. It is a powerful hour of prayer! This group has learned how to fervently adore God together, confess their sins, lift their hearts up with thanksgiving and implore the Lord for individual, corporate and world-wide needs.
